The Life-Study
of the Bible
Hardcover Edition
Beginning in 1974 Witness Lee
held semi-annual trainings on every book of the Bible. He called these trainings
"Life-Studies." He completed this work in the summer of 1995 with the Song of
Songs training. The messages given in these trainings have now been published in both
hardcover and softback.
Those of us who were
privileged to be in some of these meetings with our brother often felt that the heavens
were open to us. Brother Lee's burden was not to teach the Bible, although these messages
are indeed filled with teaching and with marvelous insights into God's word. His real
burden was to bring God's children into God's eternal purpose by ministering to them the
word of life. May the Lord richly bless these messages to His children for the building up
of the Body of Christ in the local churches!
The softcover and hardcover
editions have exactly the same content. However, while the hardcover edition has a large
page size with a generous margin for note taking, the softcover edition has a small page
size to make it more portable.
